About the Race
In celebration of the Chicago Yacht Club’s 150th anniversary, we are running an “Ultra Mac.” This race is traditionally run once every 25 years, in conjunction with major CYC anniversaries.

The race will begin with the Bayview Mac race, continue past Mackinac, and then finish in Chicago. Only boats completing the Cove Island course of Bayview-Mac will be eligible, meaning that the race will be almost 550 NM long
